Produksi Gula Aren dalam Perspektif Hukum Ekonomi Islam Studi di Desa Batu Mekar

Abstract

This study aims to develop palm sugar production as a means to improve the welfare of palm sugar farmers—who operate within the small-scale home industry sector—enabling them to establish palm sugar as a flagship product. The study specifically examines the development of palm sugar production through the lens of Islamic law. It employs a descriptive-analytical qualitative approach, utilizing observation, interviews, and documentation for data collection. Regarding data analysis, the author utilizes the inductive method. Producers in Batu Mekar Village, Lingsar District, face various challenges; for instance, limited technical knowledge and the continued use of traditional tools create significant difficulties compared to mechanized or advanced production methods. These issues require solutions that alleviate the burden on producers—such as training them to use large stoves for cooking the sugar, thereby eliminating the need to search for firewood during the rainy season.
