Abstrak

Language ability is a fundamental aspect of early childhood development, playing a critical role in supporting communication, cognitive, and socio-emotional skills. However, in practice, there are still limitations among kindergarten teachers in implementing language teaching methods that are varied, creative, and aligned with children's developmental characteristics. This Community Service (PkM) program aims to mentor teachers at TK Al Munir Jabon, Pringgarata, Central Lombok, in developing effective language teaching methods to enhance children's language skills. The mentoring activities were carried out through several stages: needs analysis, training on play-based language teaching methods, teaching demonstrations, hands-on practice, as well as joint evaluation and reflection with the teachers. The introduced methods include storytelling, singing, language games, and the use of simple, contextual media. The results of the activity showed an increase in teachers' understanding and skills in designing and implementing more innovative and interactive language teaching methods. Furthermore, children demonstrated increased participation, confidence in speaking, and vocabulary development during the learning process. Consequently, this mentoring program has contributed positively to improving the quality of early childhood language learning at TK Al Munir Jabon.
